The Patt scholarship is offered through REEF and is designed to help Illinois residents – who are veterans or members of active reserves – pursue an undergraduate college or university education in real estate or real estate administration. Get an application here.

Scholarships will be given using the following criteria from applicants:

  • record of military service,

  • references and recommendations.

The number of scholarships awarded will be determined by REEF, and scholarships may be used to pay for expenses including tuition, room and board, texts and materials at any college or university in Illinois.

The Patt scholarship was established in memory of George L. Patt, who started his real estate career after 20 years in the U.S. Navy. He also served as the executive vice president for: the Danville Area Board of REALTORS®, the DuPage Board of REALTORS®, the Naples (Florida) Board of REALTORS®, the South Suburban Association of REALTORS® and the Southwest Suburban Association of REALTORS®.
