Illinois Lawn Care Maintenance

Illinois Lawn Care Maintenance

When you live in Illinois for a few years or more, you end up realizing that the seasons here are often poorly defined. It is March 4th here and in the last 10 days, it has snowed 4 inches and been in the 70’s. Many times the weather influences things we do. This is the case in maintaining your yard.

Many people opt to take care of their own yard by doing things like mowing, fertilizing, weed control, and so on. Others like me prefer to use the services available from a professional lawn care maintenance company. They are experienced and professional and know what they are doing.

Some of the duties that a great lawn care maintenance company in Illinois would probably do for you include the following:

  • Lawn mowing
  • Fertilization
  • Weed control
  • Lawn pest control
  • Crabgrass control
  • Aeration and overseeding
  • Mulching
  • Pruning

There can be other services that are available, but that will depend upon the company policies.

Here is some information that we felt was very insightful, so decided to add it to this blog post:

What’s the Difference Between Landscaping and Lawn Care?

Lawn care is the process of preserving the health, color, and vibrancy of existing lawns throughout time. Pest management, weed control, fertilizer, soil analysis, lawn core aeration, reseeding, deeper root nourishment for trees and shrubs, and irrigation are all procedures that belong under lawn maintenance.

Landscaping services are far more involved, involving the designing, constructing, and planting outside environments. Plants and artificial features combine to create relaxing outdoor spaces. Hardscape pieces are added after premises have been prepared for landscaping.

Decks walks, lights, terraces, brick walls, fire pits, waterfall, pool areas, and other features are among them. Plants bring a sense of completion to landscape building projects and garden ideas.

Privacy hedges, foundation planting, perennial flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants may be included.

Besides landscaping services, you will require monthly lawn care and maintenance as a homeowner.
